Passing The Mic (PTM) is an intergenerational dialogue on hip hop arts, education, and activism hosted by the award winning Office of Multicultural Arts Initiatives (OMAI) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in partnership with the DDEEA
LINEBREAKS FESTIVAL
OMAI’s Line Breaks Hip Hop Theater Festival consists of performances, lectures, and discussions by First Wave students and invited professional artists engaging with the Madison community, on and off campus.
HIP HOP IN THE HEARTLAND
Each summer, UW-Madison’s Office of Multicultural Arts Initiatives (OMAI) teams up with the UW-Madison School of Education to offer educators and community leaders a series of digital programs to learn the best practices in Hip Hop pegagody.
