Octavia Ikard is a poet and short story writer from Durham, North Carolina and attended school in Oak Park, IL. They have performed for multiple organizations such as Chicago’s BWOP (Black Women Organizing for Power), UW Madison’s Intergenerational Hip Hop Festival and so many more. In their free time they enjoy looking after they’re cat, trying new cafes, and discovering local libraries.
