As a Puerto Rican actor, director, writer, and passionate collaborator, Karl Michael Iglesias (He,Him,His) develops new Interdisciplinary Contemporary Performance – exploring poetry and how it manifests in movement, the body, the stage, film and in protest. Selected theater credits include The Comedy of Errors (Assistant Director @ The Public), and Measure for Measure (Assistant Director @ The Public Theater). Karl has developed work through the Kennedy Center Office Hours Residency @ The Reach with additional funding provided by City Artists Corps of NYC. He is the former Artistic Advisor for the Office of Multicultural Arts Initiatives at the University of Wisconsin and the 2022 Creative Director of the Line Breaks Theater Festival. Karl is the author of Catch a Glow (Finishing Line Press) and is recognized as a Puerto Rican Cultural Ambassador by Hunter College. Karl lives in Brooklyn, NY.
