Eric Henkes is a musical performer, recording artist, and poet from River Forest, Illinois attending the University of Wisconsin on the First Wave Scholarship. He has released solo musical projects like his debut 2021 album “Lavender” and 2022 EP “blushing walls,” as well as collaborative projects with his hip-hop group False Publication, like 2019 debut album “Propaganda” and 2021 album “Tacenda.” He has performed these projects in venues across the Chicagoland area. He recently performed an original song “All These Eyes” in the annual Line Breaks show produced by OMAI First Wave and directed by Denzel Taylor. Henkes is planning an upcoming unnamed album set to drop next Valentine’s Day. Henkes’s versatility is seen through his experimentation with the R&B, rap, and indie rock genres.
